Dry, Frizzy, Damaged Hair? 5 Important things you are doing it wrong!

by Jatin Gandhi

Hey, I’m excited to share the hair-care routine. I have a curly hair and there are days where my hair was dry, unruly, and frizzy. But fortunately, Coccoon has a solution for it. Dry, Frizzy, Damaged Hair? There are 5 things you are doing it wrong without even knowing about it. Follow these tips to keep your hair soft and healthy.

As much important is for the skincare, hair-care is essential too.

Hair plays an important role in bringing out the best version of you. Remember, if your hair looks good, your entire outlook looks good too.

All the above being said, the process was so much fulfilling and refreshing to the transition of ourselves. You learn pretty swiftly when you are passionately doing your own things, who aren’t afraid to break a sweat, is a major breakthrough for substantial results.

Also I believe hair damage is never a good thing and we keep on switching the products just because it’s not helping. No, that’s where you go wrong. Not only products can help you maintain your hair but also it’s important to know the daily habits which can prevent you from damaging your hair. It’s important to follow these simple tips and take care of your hair and skin as well.

• Many people don’t realize a mistake that we do in our daily lives like scrubbing your hair with a towel to dry it off. This causes way too much pressure, hence the damage and breakage. Allow the hair to dry on it’s own or use hair dryer in less heat.
Instead of rubbing your hair with a towel, just press gently to absorb any water.

• Use softer material for your hair. Switch the typical bath towel to a microfiber towel, which can help your hair dry faster, and also give your hair the TLC it needs. And, Also they are super soft and gentle for your hair.
(For those who don’t know, TLC – tender loving care)

• There are little things that we should know to take care of our hair. I have done a research on prevention of hair damage and I found out that pillowcase matters.

If you sleep on a regular cotton pillowcase, your hair is likely suffering much more wear and tear than necessary. Now I know every time I wake up, I see a few strands of my hair on my pillow. Hair loss, dryness and frizziness are all likely results of damaging your hair on a rough pillowcase while you toss and turn every night.

One of the best things you can do for your hair is switching the normal pillow case to a vegan silk pillowcase or Bamboo Lyocell Pillowcase. I’m using the Bamboo Lyocell pillowcase, they are softer than cotton. Will talk more about this on my next blog post.
It’s gentle for your skin and hair.

• Always take a look at the ingredients of all of your favorite hair products. Many of them artificial ingredients, paraben and other harsh ingredients that can damage your hair.

I would recommend the cocoon products cause they are made with exotic natural actives.

Every time I buy the products, I look out on the ingredients that are natural, cruelty free, sulphate free, paraben free, vegan, and clinically tested and dermatologically approved. Also, their products are safe and efficient.

I use this Coccoon Hair Mask twice a week and shampoo 3 times a week.

Coccoon Nourishing Hair Mask – This is sulphate free mask , it de-tangles, de-stresses your hair, and controls frizz. It has green tea and greens apple as natural active ingredients which adds volume and texture to your hair . It can be used as hair spa or use small amount as regular conditioner

Coccoon Miraculous Sulphate Free Shampoo – This is a truly miraculous shampoo as it does it all, 5 essential oils (Argan Oil, Camellia Seed Oil, Green Tea Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Sweet Almond Oil) nourishes , milk protein repairs hair and vitamin b5 strengthens and makes hair voluminous.
