The most surprising about this project is that, We did a shoot in 10 minutes flat, cause we had only 10 minutes left. Because, I took more time in other photoshoots. I was disappointed with a short time-limit, but nevertheless, I tried to make everything quick as precise as possible based on the upside down from stranger things concept.
Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven in The Stranger Things Series, with crazy psychokinetic abilities rosed to fame. Also, She is also a style icon of this youth generation. It’s really phenomenal to see her act with a limited vocabulary and her remarkable emotional expressions.
She is just 13, who has never trained before as an actor. I believe that confidence and a will to do something is all it takes to make a mark.
Her style is making a huge difference in this Gender-Fluid fashion industry. The catch-phrases like “Friends don’t lie”, “Promise”, “Home”, are what makes the show and the character more relatable, resonating with the deepest of our emotions and desires, which are often compromised when we try to build our homes in other people. That is why we feel so angry when our phone calls or texts are left unanswered, or probably deal with people who don’t give a shit.
Avenging the people you love doesn’t make you any more you. As the stranger casts said, it’s how you choose to live with that anger that really defines you.
The reason behind creating this post is about how everyone proves their mettle when the situations goes upside down. However, as enlightening as it may be, We are still in fear when we try to make frantic attempts that can stop the demons from haunting us. It’s everything about how we keep on trying things that are potentially possible.
The striking scene is where Eleven leaves Kali and her troops as she chooses not to lead a life of hatred and violence. Otherwise, Eleven would’ve tracked down every single person who haunted her mother.
The purpose on creating “Upside Down” was all about the confusion caused by many unfavourable situations, intentionally or unintentionally, having a control over our anger.
Sometimes, we choose to let it go or rage over things.
Sometimes, Things go upside down in many ways.
What really inspired us from the Upside Down Concept, is the indescribable fear that everyone faces when the world goes upside down. I wanted to explore more about the repercussions of the Upside Down as a metaphor for fear, anxiety, and nightmare. I am super glad that I was able to create this post that is something iconic and ironic.
Sometimes, Fashion confuses us whether they are the good people or bad people. For an instance, People are dressed up as goths induce us to think they are the bad people, but they are not. It’s just an upside-down approach. Kali dressing up in a Goth look doesn’t mean she isn’t “good” or “bad”. Fashion doesn’t dictate character. It doesn’t have any analogy in terms of goodness or badness.
We all have our own choices to keep it fun and youthful. It’s just the person you choose to be, the actions you take, and deal with it effectively.
Since this post is about “Eleven”, we decided to go with something Gender-Fluid for this upside down concept. She wore a navy-blue coat over denim shirt paired with denim pants for timeless and sophisticated look. Like I said in the previous posts, Denims are infallible.
